Purina Walk For Guide Dogs This Saturday

The Purina Walk for Guide Dogs is an annual event that is held across the country in effort to raise money for Guide Dogs and their training. These animals are used for people with all sorts of disabilities including vision loss, hearing loss, service dogs, seizure response, autism assistance, and diabetic alert.

The walk is put on by the Lions Foundation of Canada and is Saturday, August 29th at 12:00pm.

SAM BAT is a proud supporter of the Lions Foundation and the Walk for Guide Dogs and is hosting a local walk this year. The walk will start at 12 noon at the Carleton Place Mews and finish at the Sam Bat factory where there will be tours, a BBQ and prizes!

For more information, or to donate to the cause, please see the Guide Dogs of Canada website
