Sam Bat Named The Official Bat Of The ABF

The Australian Baseball Federation (ABF) is pleased to announce it has secured a partnership deal with Sam Bat to be the Official Bat of the ABF. Sam Bat’s distinctive bat logo, already familiar to Australian Baseball League (ABL), will now be seen on bats of the Australian national teams and at ABF events around the country. Brett Pickett, Chief Executive Officer of the ABF, said; “We are very pleased with Sam Bat’s extension of their sponsorship of baseball in Australia.  Sam Bat is well known as a high quality baseball bat that will encourage excellence as our teams compete at the national and international level.  This is an exciting time for baseball as we progress with the ABL and joint national partnerships; and Sam Bat is a natural partner for the whole of our sport.” Arlene Anderson, President of Sam Bat, said, “Sam Bat has supplied bats to many of the greatest hitters in the world and been a part of several records set in professional baseball.  This is Sam Bat’s third year as the official supplier of bats to the ABL and we are thrilled and proud to now be the official bat of the ABF.  We look forward to working with the ABF to help promote baseball in Australia and sponsor key events.” Sam Bat will work with the ABF to bring related promotional products to baseball fans around the country.   The Australian Baseball Federation is the governing body for all levels of baseball throughout Australia.  Primarily responsible for the development of the sport; as well as national high performance; the ABF works with seven (7) State and Territory associations and 600+ clubs across the country.  The ABF also acts as the international liaison and representation of Australian Baseball at all International forums.
